The 15th World Congress on Pain join more than 6,000 pain specialists from all over the world to learn about new developments and advances in the field of pain, from laboratory science to clinical diagnosis, management, and prevention.[link]
Each year, the AECRP hosts McGill University's PAIN DAY, a day for health care professionals and trainees in the treatment and study of pain.
Pain Day 2014Held on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at 2:00 to 7:00 pm in the McGill Residence Hall, 3625 avenue du Parc. The event featured a Trainees' Workshop entitled "Can we trust the published literature? Why not and what can be done to improve things?" led by Dr. Stephen McMahon and Dr. Gary Bennett, followed by a Poster Session.
The Plenary Lecture, "Finding Novel Pain Genes", was given by Dr. Stephen McMahon, Sherrington Professor of Physiology, King's College London.
